Girls Leading Girls develops confident, capable young women through leadership training, mentorship, and the power of sport. Our programs are designed to equip girls with the tools to lead on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities.

Leadership Through Soccer

Our flagship program uses soccer as a vehicle for leadership. Girls learn to communicate, collaborate, and problem‑solve while developing technical skills in a supportive, all‑girls environment. The program features:

  • Weekly after‑school soccer sessions

  • Certified women coaches and mentors

  • Leadership lessons woven into every practice

  • Inclusive, no‑cost access for girls across the Bay Area

  • Opportunities to play, coach, and lead within their teams

Girls gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging, all while discovering their voice as leaders.

Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy offers structured workshops for girls in grades 3–12, focusing on personal development and community impact. Topics include:

  • Communication & public speaking

  • Goal‑setting & decision‑making

  • Emotional intelligence & self‑advocacy

  • Teamwork & conflict resolution

  • Career exploration with women leaders

Participants leave with practical leadership tools and a deeper understanding of their strengths and potential.
